onion went hoe kee (at plaza singapura) and bought the krisroz rain shower set! it was featured in the sunday times and it looks really pretty. although it's made in china, $368 for a rain shower set, compare to hansgrohe, it's so much more affordable! hehe... we're so excited about the only item we can change for our mrb toilet!

sungei kadut! somewhere i'll never imagine getting our bed frame from. onion was flipping the sunday times as usual and spotted some furniture sale at sungei kadut. that's like the other side of singapore! well, we're definitely not a fan of those advertisements but we always end up visiting those warehouses. hehe... we'll travel all the way there, scan through the warehouse in 5 mins and leave if nothing interest us. ok, we found this white bed frame from country style furnishing pte ltd, at the IFC (international furniture centre). love at first sight!
• classic bed frame ($999 after bargaining, including delivery)
16 august (sat) 11am: teka delivers our hob, hood, oven, sink and kitchen mixer. everything was ok except the kitchen mixer needs to be replace, there're some scatches and stains. 12pm: citygas uncle was here to do the gas piping for the kitchen and the new gas heater. he was nice and he answers to our queries. we wanted to place it in the washroom but uncle said it can only be place outdoor where there's ventilation. so the only place is the service yard and no where else... anyway, he showed us the positioning of our gas heater before he continues to drill to the wall. everything went smoothly and we're satisfied with the overall look. btw, this is all foc! :)

feeling inspired, we head for tampines IKEA once again. total damage: $300+! • URBAN white chair for dining $69
we prefer to buy the big items off the shelves. the only build-in stuffs are bomb shelter feature, kitchen and our MBR closet. yup, we like to move our furnitures as and when we like. hmm...i wonder if we'll be able to transform our cottage into 361 different looks... haha, i know that's kinda silly! anyway, we've confirmed some items which we'll get from IKEA.
when we step into our cottage at 9.30pm yesterday, we had a pleasant surprise! as promised, eugene sent his electrician to work on the lightings. the 1st point is relocate the kitchen switch to outside. see, the tiles are still intact! eugene came around 9.50pm, all the way from pasir ris. he needs us to confirm on the brick material so that he can proceed to order and do up by this week. hehe... our dream of having a brick wall is finally coming true! i hope eugene will continue with the good works. we really appreciate his help in rushing the renovation for us, even after titan creative breach the contract. eugene manage to give us a time line with a short notice and when we told him we need to move in by september, he took the initiative to rush us for detailing. we're impressed...
our service yard's window is up! venus arrange her workers to do up on 2nd august, 9.30am. the workers were late, they reached at close to 11am. But they finish their work really fast! :) we chose a top hung window becoz in case it rains, we can still air our clothes.
