thumbs up for closetrobe

after a week, our sub-con, closetrobe, came to do up our MBR closet. it is our most favourite build-in now. i forgot to take the final product's pix, will update soon yah? i can only say, it's so nice~~ they rectify every single concern we have till it's perfect, and on the spot. that is what we call service! unlike titan. i think i'll be complaining for a few weeks or even months about the irresponsible contractor. bear with me please...

the wall is down - but we wasn't inform

yes, tony hacked the wall without informing us. it's really depressing for me because he didn't do what we asked him to. such a simple task to inform us on the date of hacking! we just want to be there... :( worst is, he didn't even admit his mistake! and kept asking us what do we want now? Arghhh... his behaviour is so childish!

i'll strongly advise anyone who's keen on taking titan, NOT to engage them. he is such an irresponsible contractor. terrible! anybody know if i can sue him for not informing?

opposite walls & parquet skirtings are all damaged... where are the protection? one word: inexperienced.

closetrobe partition & ndp rehearsal

we had our partition board done up on saturday morning. 2 guys came around 10am and finish up by 2pm. it has to be up before the painting comes in. so this is it, preview of our 7ft closet.

at about 6plus we heard the fighter planes and went to take a look. this is what we saw! :) nice~

3D sketch

after all the phone calls and smses, we finally got our 2nd 3D sketch. the 1st sketch is so bad that i don't even feel like looking at them! ok, anyway, this is not final. tony's attitude changed quite a bit after we sign the contract. he's not as helpful, he doesn't give solution. yah, he is a contractor to me now, not ID. but that's ok. we prefer asking him to do what we want because we don't trust his design anymore. how much can you trust a contractor right? our mind is set, we're still going ahead with him since we paid the deposit. he throws us question, we'll find the answer and when everything is done, he'll realise how useless he it. we don't mind having to decide on the smallest thing. it's our cottage! btw, all your suggestions and comments are welcome. :)

white is hard to maintain?

who says white kitchen are impractical?

the price of one original piece is 4 digit. well, we can easily get replica here and the cheapest that i've found is $160. but what's the point right? i think i rather appreciate the nice visual from photos.

teak teak table

• 1.35m dining table ($599)

the criteria to be our dining table: thick & firm legs and must very steady. we searched and searched... finally we found it at scan teak, their sale at sungei kadut. it's a simple piece, made of teak wood. actually 2m will be ideal, but where to find space??? anyway the fun starts here, the chair searching starts now. :) we're gonna have 6 different chairs for our mini teak table. yeah!!
